    The average washing machine has a statistical life of 5 to 7 years. A Miele washing machine is designed and tested for 5,000 wash cycles - thats 15 to 20 years at a rate of 5 washes per week. Miele machines have been known to be still going strong after 30 years. This is not by accident, it is by design.

    Miele washing machines give excellent results but are extremely economical. The consumption levels of Miele machines have been evaluated according to the strict EU regulations, so it is easy to see how they compare with other machines. The energy efficiency ratings you will find below are from A to G, with A being more efficient and G being less efficient.

    Miele machines are never wasteful because of their fuzzy logic. You can wash a small load of garments just as economically as a large one, because the automatic load adjustment system can measure the volume and absorbency of the laundry. It works out exactly how much water each load actually needs and uses not a drop more.

    All Miele washing machines have fully electronic controls (Novotronic controls). These have no moving parts which means much less wear and tear to the machine and a wide choice of "intelligent" programmes.
