Repairs was established in 1985 by Mike Parkes, who was self-employed
for the first time. Starting off as a one-man business, mainly
in the domestic market, Mike gradually built up a solid customer
base and took on more and more commercial work, mainly through
his role as an agent for the German company Miele. Having
taken on contract work for local authorities and other companies,
the workforce slowly increased to cope with the extra workload.

C&DAR
currently employees four full-time employees and three part-time
employees. The majority of the work we carry out now is commercial,
however our domestic customers remain just as important to
us.
- Originally, most of the work carried out by
C&DAR was in the West Midlands. However, with the growth of
the company, C&DAR are able to supply machines country-wide
for both commercial and domestic markets.

Parkes still runs the company, and he still makes time to
get out of the office and do the job he started out doing
more than fifteen years ago
